Tollwood

Actually I don't know exactly what Tollwood is. People say it's an annual Winter festival in Munich, and could be. I went by there, had good time and found these pictures, full of lights:

El resort de Martin Parr

Hace años vi sin proponérmelo una exposición de Martin Parr en el museo Reina Sofía de Madrid. Su particular mirada de ver lo que le rodea es extraordinaria, tan llena de ironía y crítica, pero también de humor y color. No es un tipo normal. Su serie "The Last Resort" es un gran documento, y muy British.

De alguna manera a mi cámara le gusta ese camino y en no pocas ocasiones se suele fijar en gente extraña y en comportamiento de masas que, siendo habituales, carecen totalmente de sentido. Hay un gran brillo en lo grotesco.

Organizando el catálogo naranja acabo de ver una muestra de fotos de este pasado año que podrían hacerse un hueco aquí mismo. Seguro buscando poco salen muchas más.

Múnich. El hombre de la derecha atiende cuidadosamente las Würst, la mujer del centro me grita "fünf euros!" y la que tiene al lado simplemente permanece inmóvil con un gesto que da miedo.

Venecia. Yo miro al rebaño de turistas, éstos miran a las piedras y la chica de la derecha me mira a mí, seguramente impactada por mi gran atractivo. Adornando la escena, una figura alada y angelical de color celeste en el fondo.

Venecia. Dos tipos pasean a su bebé-perro mientras articulan gestos.

Angelina, Paris

The long queue along the Rue de Rivoli shows the entrance to Angelina, a great example of decoration and a place with a very Parisian stylish. The chocolate is not only for exhibition, you also can taste it, it's real. It works just interchanging a few euros.

 

 

 

La notre spécialité was excelent, almost as good as the little churrería in my neighborhood, that which was there since always and has a size for about 3 people, not more, and standing.

Paris and it's not Summer

It's the first time I visit Paris out of Summer season.

I've heard that Galeries Lafayette is the most beautiful shop in the world and also de biggest lingerie store. Its dome is so awesome.

Versailles was full of normal people from everywhere.

I didn't miss the chance to take a self-portrait in Le Grande Arche de la Défense, a place which I always like

Paris metro, again

Paris metro always takes my camera's eye. I find it full of life. Dirty, stylish and a great mix of details.
As a new, I realized some line has been updated with modern trains without driver.
