Mahjong (麻雀)

Mahjong was one of my top discoveries during my last visit to China. I appreciate its aesthetic and meaning of the pieces: Winds, dragons, etc. A nice way to go deeper in Chinese culture.
Do you know where Mahjong pieces are come from? I think they come from a Mahjong tree.

Me encantan tus dibujos de viaje. Que acuarelas (y colores) tienes en tus cajitas de acuarela? Ví una con colores y otra con grises. Gracias

Hi. I've been living in Taipei for almost 3 years now and also felt in love with Mahjong. Since I'm unable to learn proper Mandarin, besides the very basic (tones drive me crazy), at least I'll take something with me that will last and entertain and remind me of Taiwan.
I loooove your diary's aesthetic! I do wish I could keep one as well.
