Process for little watercolors. I chose these three colors in order to master the art of maps. Now I realize they cover so many other scenarios and add the perfect atmosphere.
Actually I used mostly only two of them.

Watercolors are Winsor & Newton numbers Raw Sienna (552), Burnt Sienna (074) and Turquoise (654). Oh, loving turquoise and the palette it can generate.

These actually look really good quality watercolours.
I like the fact that they're so small too!
Makes them so much easier to carry around.
I wondered which little paint tin with the three wells you show here?
I also wondered what is the light blue pen/brush in the last photograph? Thank you for such wonderful posts - you have a great eye!
GreenBristol that’s not a blue pen it looks like a water brush. Also the little tin could be an Altoids tin with three pans that you buy loose off Amazon.
OP these paintings are wonderful. They have given me inspiration for the front page of the Morocco journal I’ve finished but left the front pge till last. Now I can completely finish and thank you
