Fascinating Thai stamps

Serious good design in these Thai stamps.

They are small works of art. Timeless style. They will enrich my future notes :)

Bangkok bus atmosphere

I like the feeling in this photo so much. One of the (many) great qualities I admire from Thai people is calm. Calm is good, and mandatory for a civilised society.

Simple hut in Koh Lanta

I realize I don’t need ruler to draw little house this since every line is organic and natural. Same for its construction. Just nearby resources, simplicity, easy and can be made in a few days with help of family and friends.

The result is something in harmony with the place. I guess this is real wisdom.

I saw that giant lizard around my hut most of the days there. Quite scary when it appears just a few meters away.

Koh Lipe

I think it’s my new favourite Thai island. Not easy to reach in comparison with other islands since wake up early is mandatory to take the first morning flight from BKK and then a chain of bus and boats.

It’s tropical and tropical is always good. Small, no bikes needed and extremely beautiful place.

Recent trip route in Thailand

Thailand has many layers to be unveiled and the more I discover, the more fascinating everything becomes. These are new islands for me, all of them amazing, specially Koh Lipe. I had great day in Koh Santa, in low season, my favourite season.

This map style is slightly different from others and I like it a lot. I think it will be my map style by default  (until I start experimenting in the next attempt because I know myself).

Iconsiam ice cream and more notes from Thailand

Last page of this notebook. One more journal is completed.

Finally I spent too many days filling gaps or full pending pages. I promise myself I will never leave empty pages in the middle with the hope to finished them at the end. Big mistake.

I’m not in Thailand now (hopefully soon) but it’s always good write about good memories there.

Magnificent Thai stamps

I'm happy I found an old stamps shop in Chinatown, Bangkok. Now I have enough little artworks to add to my notebooks for a while.

Koh Chang, Thailand

Those days in Koh Chang (and Koh Rang) were great. A little far by bus and boat from Siracha, but that's also valuable part of the trip.

I like the unexpected and textured effect of the white ballpen in the drawing.

Some photos from Koh Chang

Thailand atmosphere is always special. And even more in its islands and beaches: Relaxing, easy, full tropical feeling and direct contact with nature.

These photos were taken in Koh Chang, or I should say in some small islands in the south of the big island.

I found an orange monk there.

Muang Boran (Ancient City)

Muang Boran (Ancient City), in Bangkok, together with other notes some of them less important than others.
I’m glad to see how flat this bookbinding improvement opens the pages.

Thailand 2022-2023

Here some photos of my dear Thailand during the last trip there.

Inside a local bus in Bangkok. Note the wooden floor.
7 Eleven in everywhere.

Museum open to any passersby with trained eyes.

Kilometers of asphalt and concrete.

Ubiquitous plastic chairs.

View of Bangkok from the airplane. What a gift.

Telephone box invaded by nature.

Thai-Chinese style.

Excellent coffeeshop near the river.

First time I visited a hospital in Bangkok. Quite impressive!

Island style in Thailand is relaxing, easy, unique.

Best time to visit Thailand

When is the best time to visit Thailand? Very easy answer: Always!

Just forget the temperature curves or raining bars and look at the happiness level. It’s always set at 100% And honestly the decision of being in or out of Thailand is obvious.
