Some huge things found recently

My new idol is Terunofuji. And now Yokozuna wannabe. How should I start? Is there any other Yokozuna by here to guide me? I've started to eat mango sticky rice if that helps to increase my weight x2.

Testing new papers

Paper is key. From more important to less: Paper - ink - pen.

Still happy with my dear vergé paper but I'm open to options. Somehow the paper has shown feathering a couple of times. First time it happened was traveling in Vietnam with hot temperatures and humidity. I tried to reproduce those conditions at home but paper worked so well even under the most extreme tests.

So I'm quite sure what caused that feathering: Lignen, the "glue" which joins the fibers together, inside paper is gone or damaged. But I have no idea why that happens only sometimes.

I'm looking for a cream paper with texture, about 100m/m2.

Anyways it's fun trying new things. And more papers to come soon. I will post my conclusions.

Useful tools which can be kept inside the notebook

Many people ask me about how I do such straight text lines and what template I use. I don’t think it’s something special, but maybe it’s useful for somebody so here it is.

Very simple: All I need can be hold in the rear part of my notebook. From top: paper template for small writing, drier paper, notebook, ruler, plastic template for regular writing, foam and a card (credit card style).

If paper is not too thick you can just pace a paper template behind the page. In my case it doesn’t work so I made a plastic template from a folder separator. This is very lived already and definitely I need to do a new one 🤔 The pitch is important. For my writing I use 3.2mm separation between lines. Changing the pitch a little bit changes a lot the number of lines in a page. I tried from 4 to 3.4 before but 3.2 is the optimum looking for my kind of writing and pen.

3 blocks of foam helps to hold the hand and writer near the edges. It has 3 highs and it’s super light for travelling.

A small credit card is very useful as a ruler, much better than a big ruler.

A video about this can be found here.

The incredible case of detective Zero Bananas

During his career as detective he solved zero cases. Cero, null, 0, zero bananas. Ratio 0.0. The worst detective ever. It’s not laziness or whatever. He always puts all his energy on it but not results. However his agenda is always full.

There are many cases which require Zero Bananas detectivesque job: Couples who suspect are being cheated but don’t really want to know it or cases which require the thief is not found (specially if the thief is in charge of the investigation). So… everybody is happy!

In his spare time he takes care of the garden. Relaxing life.

Kinds of Income

The way to generate money could be complex and confusing for some humans. The reality is simple if you consider some key points before choosing your kind of income: Is it scalable? Get up early mandatory? (Avoid!) Is it passive income? And the most important: Is it compatible with a poetic life?

The ultimate goal is the cat. No income needed. It gets energy from the Sun. Well...

Cyberpunk 2077 new photos

One year after the launching of the game I've explored Night City again. It made my mind exploding every time. What a masterpiece of design. Every here and there is full of exquisite atmosphere. How can this place be even possible to be created?

And I used it not only as a video game but as a tool: A place to explore and take photos. I strongly feel we are in the first steps of virtualization and soon these now called "video games" will be the door to traveling to existing places and also to unknown and fantasy places with extra experiences.

I created a Flickr album to share those photos in a better way. Click here to access. Welcome.

And here I post some of them:

Miho Bot

What an enigmatic character. She has a lot to say in 2050 story.

I’m fascinated to see how my little characters evolve 🎈And this is a special one: Miho Bot, the narrator of the story.

But don’t fall in love too soon since she is neither human nor even made of flesh and bones. She is a subroutine. AI created her in 2050 as a kind of archeologist to manage some difficult information left by humans. The only way to understand what people wanted to express in some artwork is using a digital human model with same feelings and behaviour than real humans. Miho Bot is so cute and friendly because she was designed to understand and eventually interact with people.

When she was 19 min old she already reached professional archeologist skills. 23 min later she organized and catalogued the whole notes collection by enigmatic Coconut Monk. So it’s time for she to release and introduce those notes to sharp listeners. However in this step she is forced to use language, a primitive and extremely slow way of communication. Anyways she is happy to do it (she is programmed for that), smile, patience x1000 and no hurry.

Let’s she what she tells us about those notes

Bangkok is always in my mind

Travel notebook when no traveling. It doesn’t matter. I’m traveling in my mind so I will draw details of my dear Thailand from now on. If Bangkok is the entrance to Asia, Suvarnabhumi airport is the entrance to the entrance. A special place which ALWAYS brings me happiness at its highest level.

Did you know there is a navigable canal in the middle of Bangkok? Crossing the city moving along that sublayer is a nice experience with its own style, full Thai.

Unexpected evolution

Oh, evolution... It continues after humans’ presence on Earth and it could use tools they left, maybe.

I can't wait to see what modifications TV brings to them.

Perseverance and surprises

I have the feeling Perseverance will find some clues of life on Mars. Maybe mysterious scales or a fossil with a couple of worm lovers.

Btw, the rover contains my name in a boarding name format. Of course I also included little Flexo to be part of the exploration.

Looks like the names are stored in this part:

Drowning is a bad idea, in general

One day Mr. B went to he beach and for some reason begun to drown. Disaster.

His whole life passed through his eyes in a few seconds. With some skill he managed to stop the video just where he read some motivational advises in Internet: “Life is like a book… bla, bla”, “ You are a being of light”, “Move away of toxic situations”. Oh, he realized drowning was quite toxic and indeed it was damaging him so much. “Do I really need to drown?” Then Mr. B decided to come out of the water and enjoyed a relaxing mango juice. Much better now, no comparison 🎈

Bangkok in weird times

Travelling these days is not easy. Despite the never ending bureaucratic processes of documents and random rules I didn't want to miss the chance of visiting my dear Thailand in 2021. And I got it.
I found Bangkok quite empty, which is good in some points. Always superhappy to be here. I took some photos with my mobile. Indeed mobiles now can take nice wide angle pics.
For your safety.
BTS has many more stations now.
City center with no traffic at all.
Because of low level of tourists great hotels are available at half price.

Praying with distance. And love.

This is one of the spots which comes to my mind when I think of Bangkok.

Some areas in Bangkok are so modern and clean now. Same level of other asian cities as Tokyo or Seoul. Indeed Bangkok has changed a lot since my first visit years ago.

Khaosan Road area is full empty. Quite sad and unbelievable. This was one of those places which never changes. Doesn't matter what you do or where you go, coming back to Khaosan was like coming back to the same place you've already known. I often could see the younger version of me walking along Rambuttri with no much imagination needed. But not now. This is checkmate. Time changes everything.

This photo shows well how is Khaosan now.

Chatuchak market is quite silent.

I see this all the time and still don't know what it is. I guess it solves all your problems at once.

Siam station not crowded.

Suvarnabhumi round shape says it's time to leave, for now.
